Modular
Concepts LLC
custom designs and builds modular homes, panelized homes, and stick built homes. We also
do additions and renovations using the best method of building for the particular job.
We work closely with
architects who specialize in modular construction. This allows us to
customize your dream home. If you have your own plans, we will duplicate these plans for
you using modular, panelized or stick construction depending on the circumstances and
which mode of construction works best for you.
Our modular products come from high-end
modular factories
located outside of Connecticut. The cost savings are derived from the labor force, which
is a cross between old Yankee craftsman and the computerized mechanics of today. The
factory has a cost of labor that is much lower than in Connecticut. In addition, the
factory, which is building many homes per year and participates in a multi-billion
dollar buying organization, purchases most of the materials used in railroad car lots at
prices much lower than local lumberyards and supply houses. The combination of lower labor
costs and lower material costs passed through the factory to you the consumer results in a
quality home or addition at the best possible price.
The factory can build a home in 2-3 weeks. While the
factory is building the home, we are busy prepping the land and constructing the
foundation. Once the house is delivered, we can finish the home in 30 to 120 days based
upon the complexity of the home itself.
Should you be interested in a new home, addition or
renovation, we hope that you will give us a chance to bid on your project. For new homes,
additions or renovations that require a plan to be drawn, a design
fee is sometimes required. This depends on the circumstances. We are happy to bid on any job that
already has a set of plans at "no charge".
We have a number of building teams in the area. We can supply
references upon request. We are licensed and very experienced in all aspects of construction. We hope you will allow us to serve you in the near future.
